Tokyo Series 2: 東京ディズニーシー

Tokyo Series 2: 東京ディズニーシー

Believe it or not, albeit my nickname was really inspired (Yes, I asked my mom LOL) by that cartoon character which is the official mascot of Disney, it was my first ever Disneyland experience. My blogger friends told me that if you’re going to have your Disney experience, it should be at Disney Sea and since we’re in Tokyo, especially because of its unique nautical theme. And of course, the sea!!

I am quite familiar with the famous Disney characters and movies, probably Mickey Mouse would the least ironically haha. I remember reading of some of their books esp. Sleeping Beauty (Disney version) which mom would leave at our book shelves. I’m not really a fan of all the Disney stories and movies of the time tbh and it might not be the “happiest place on earth” but it was really one of the cutest, most sanitised and adventurous theme-park I went to!

When we arrived in Narita airport, we went to Chiba (east of Tokyo) to leave our bags at Tita Ian’s house and then we went straight to Disneyland which was just a quick and easy commute. We got our tickets discounted for around 4000+ Yen (night pass) days before (this way and fast passes recommended for travellers)

It was a Wednesday night and lines were already long. We skipped the the other Disney places and most of the rides in Disney sea and decided to stroll and just relax. And it was indeed especially with the views of italian-port inspired Mediterranean Harbor, Mysterious Island, Mermaid Lagoon and New York Harbor. More photos below.

We were to able to catch the Be Magical show which featured Disney characters and an amazing firework display. The language is in Japanese but I think the visuals can relate.

We didn’t finish the show and decided to stroll to the Venice inspired place. I think that I got attracted to vibe of this area because I haven’t been!
