MAC Flamingo Park
Few weeks ago, MAC launched their big color collection for Spring/Summer 2016: punchy pleasures of pink. MAC described it as “a picnic…a park…a girl of whimsy with a sweet tooth…unexpected guests…a curious flamingo! That’s spring for MAC and it’s definitely an adventure for me…. An adventure because 1. The colors are so lively and dreamy which I like, and 2. While I don’t wear so much pink, this color palette is open and can be playful for all skin tones.

At the event, this was showcased through fun demos. And of course, I swatched first the lippies!
I think all hues are very fit for warm tones, except for Saint Germain, which was my first pink lippie from the brand that they also included in the limited edition collection.

My favorite from the LE’s are Have A Cake and Be Silly, which are nice purple hues (the latter only more pink), and a red-orange-pink Flocking Fabulous which I wore in the cover photo, mixed with the popular warm pink Please Me, which was also included in the color collection.

Fun Demo’s
My next top picks are the blushes. My cheeks are suckers for pinks and oranges (aside from peach which was my staple), especially because I like wearing nudes now. The collection has different cheek colors: apricots, pinks, corals and purples which can make face look brighter and fresher.
And last but not least, eyeshadows and pigments! I have always been open to wearing pink, oranges and green’s on my lids and my favorites are Rose (rose-copper color) and Golden Olive (gold-green frost).
Below are more photos of the event which I really enjoyed both visually and cosmetically. The collection is still available in all MAC counters nationwide. I also got the chance to swatch some neutral-nude permanent shades that are not available in The Philippines. Can you guess one? My favorite is WHIRL!
