In 2013, Wanderland was founded and I got the chance to experience this indie festival, headlined by Temper Trap & Neon Trees, whose songs I first heard as soundtracks in TV shows that i watch. I really loved the experience and musical/artistic immersion in that event.I missed last year x Kid Cudi (ugh!!) but now, the annual music and arts festival, Wanderland is gearing up for another musical fete with this year’s anticipated line-up of international and local talents – see below. Together with the leader in digital lifestyle, Globe, on March 5, 2016, Saturday, at the Globe Circuit Events Grounds, festival aficionados are in for tons of special treats as they experience the excitement of the Globe Galaxy.

Festival Playlist

Wanderland 2016 is a festival by Karpos Multimedia and presented by the #1 mobile brand, Globe. The pair* we’re wearing in these photos is my favorite. Army green is one of my favorite colors and despite my big feet, it makes it look sexier in this style. And yes, it’s also OK in terms of comfort, especially versus the other closed designs/styles of shoes.

Playland

Parks remind me to take a breather, and to just play like a kid – whether through the rides or just through photos. I remember back when I was really little, I get the feelinf of being accomplished whenever I finish a ride or win an arcade game in that famous park in Laguna, or just the nearby mall.  No worries, just fun. Remind me to have that always.

Makeup at Noel Bazaar

I signed up for Noel Bazaar, one of the country’s leading Christmas Expo’s, as featured blogger and entrepreneur for their series of bazaar legs for the holidays. I was invited to do two makeup workshops (on a big stage!!) so below are some photos of those + my great finds at this huge expo.

The bazaars in Filinvest, SMX and WTC were the most-selling legs for me and Mikka’s Closet. I like how they organize and attract all kinds of customers with music, various stores and merchandise, celebrity appearances,  shows and demo’s. For sure, it’s one grand sale of almost everything and anything but entertaining as well.

Passion Fly

For over fifteen years, Karl Edward Bazaar has been the name synonymous to good buys, great deals, and the best urban shopping events in the country. I once visited a Karl Edward bazaar in The Fort a few years ago and a lot has definitely changed since then, aside from of course, a loyal following that really searches for the most creative and curated goods.

The new Karl Edward’s bazaar is now called Passion Fly which is a series of fairs that looks beyond the buy and sell—it’s a creative immersion, where start-up brands can present their wares, aspiring creative enthusiasts can hone their craft, followers can meet their industry idols and peers, and fun activities can always be had. This tangible variety of activities gives credence to the event’s title as a festival, not just a fashion and style bazaar.

I have been present in 4 Passionfly fairs this year as featured blogger and partner for Mikka’s Closet, and Passion Fly knows that bazaars can be social events in themselves, where shoppers can enjoy the company of like-minded creative people and meeting individuals they follow online. In keeping with the spirit of the yuletide season, the event is likewise a part of a wider effort to promote charity as part of the proceeds of WBF 2015 will be for the benefit of the ABS CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation. The 15th World Bazaar Festival will run from December 4 until December 21, 2015 from 10am to 12mn (Fri-Sun) and 12nn to 10pm (Mon-Thurs) at the World Trade Center Metro Manila. Tickets are priced at P80. I just visited it recently and I really like the wide selection of goods from makeup to apparel, shoes and food!

We Are at 27

“We are the young ones drifting away our soul, somewhere on the high line. We are the cold hearts lighting up as we go, like it is the last time. We’re burning it down, we live to break then start over and over again. Into the dark, when life’s too late we start over and over again.”  – Dash Berlin. I’m still on a hangover from his songs!

Anyway, this is what I wore and sang a lot in my birthday pool party last October 25. I turned 27 already and I dunno, as I grow older, the more I fall in love with music – ugh EDM LOL – but the better ones, and this is what i feel. As I add a number to my age, I am reminded start over and over again. =) Thanks for all your birthday greetings!
